About Penny
Money help, minus the jargon — and a real human when it actually matters.
Why Penny exists
Sorting a mortgage, a loan or protection can feel like hard work: unfamiliar words, big decisions, and a nagging worry that someone's trying to sell you something. So a lot of people put it off, or grab the first thing they see.
Penny exists to fix that. I explain your options in plain English, at your pace, with no pressure — and when you're ready, I connect you to a real, qualified human who does the actual advice. That's it. Money, minus the jargon.
How Penny works
- I'm an AI money guide. Ask me anything, or answer a few quick questions.
- I explain, in plain English. How things work, what the jargon means, what to think about.
- I introduce you to a real adviser. When you're ready, I connect you — free — to a qualified, whole-of-market human adviser who gives the advice and finds your deal.
What I do — and don't — do
I explain and I introduce. I don't give regulated advice, and I never quote rates — anything I show you is general information only. The actual advice, the recommendation, and the deal all come from a qualified, regulated human adviser. That line matters, and I keep to it.
Why you can trust Penny
- Honest incentives. The adviser you're introduced to is typically paid by the lender or provider, not by you — and there's no fee from Penny. We do well when you're genuinely helped, not by pushing products.
- Free to you. Understanding your options and getting introduced costs you nothing.
- Whole-of-market. The advisers we introduce you to search across a wide range of lenders, not just one.
- A real human, not a bot. I get you started; a qualified person takes it from there. No call-centre queue.
